Continuing my rampage through the Official Realm of Chaos Champions of Nurgle, here's the fly headed mutant from the range.

I've made good progress through the group, with only one out of the 11 left to go (and I've already got a painted conversion of him in the lineup).

The top of my printer now looks like this:

One more of the official Nurgle Champs and then two of the generic champions from the same range and my unit is done.

Gifted with Technology - another Nurgle Champion

Trying to keep the momentum going, I found a couple of hours this afternoon to paint another Champion of Nurgle.

He is the first of three that I'll be doing based on the same pose.

Only four left to do to complete a unit of 14 Champions. 

Papa gets a new recruit

This lockdown is proving good for productivity. Managed to add another Champion to my Nurgle unit.

The unit is up to nine, so I need another 5 to keep it in line with Nurgle's sacred number.

As an ongoing (more than 3 decades, owing to my attention span of a gnat) I am painting a Realm of Chaos Nurgle force. Today it grew by two members.

These two gribbly warriors expand a group of Nurgle Champions well overdue a paint job.

Oldhammer Ebay Trawl Challenge

A member of the newly formed Oldhammer group, suggested a challenge. To trawl through ebay listing and find a guilty pleasure to paint. We'll, I did and here he is:

I have loved this particular model since its release and this challenge finally gave me the push to buy and paint a copy. 

He's come out a darker tone than I originally intended, but that's one of the miniature painting bucket list.

Fun-Loving Criminals

I’m amazed, but I’ve reached 100 painted items of painted hobby stuff in 2018 (I’m counting scenery too). This is particularly amazing for me, as I normally only get about 30 to 40 done in a year!!!

Increasing the Smush - WIPster Style!

The Scale Creepers decided to do a Secret Santa this year.  I sent my miniature off to my given WIPster and shortly after received a present that then taunted me for nearly two weeks before we had an online opening session on Christmas Eve.

Some of you may be aware of my love of the Awesome ABC warriors. Well, my Secret Santa played a blinder! I had missed out on the Warlord/Mongoose Mongrol (having not anticipated it so quickly going out of production), but BLAM! I opened my present and there was the Smushmeister himself.

Two Pineapples and a new drag outfit for Joe

Loyal followers of this blog (and you must be loyal, because I'm rubbish at keeping it up to date!) may remember me posting the blister packs of the ABC Warriors that I bought at BOYL2014 (see HERE).

Well, in that post I said that I bought two Joe's because I was going to convert one to be in drag in homage to the iconic image when Joe accepts Khaos in the awesome Khronicles of Khaos.

Well I have somehow managed to get myself involved with a likeminded crowd (albeit far more productive hobby-wise than myself). We are doing some group Blogging for our join projects over at Scale Creep:

As part of this project, a number of us will be painting dragons. and I've been lucky enough to be the first to post one.

Pir-Ork

As part of the Oldhammer Legacy Crew I decided to paint a Space Ork Pirate. I had an untouched miniature that had come free with a White Dwarf a long time ago and I fancied a go at sculpting a pirate  hat.

Youngest of his brothers (and with but a single younger sister), Epheldir is drawn to seeking adventure in the lands of men. Fascinated by the way these short-lived beings squander their limited time in the world.

For a game in September of 'Oldhammer Quest' run by Erny, I have decided to play an elf. I've had a quick look in the loft and found the following:

Talisha is the name Imamu has given to his people carrier. Meaning 'fortunate woman', he hope the name will be an omen for the gang.

In preparation for BOYL2014 (for which I am seriously behind) I have finally completed my gang for the Confrontation game.

Sensei Band complete! (For now….)

First day of the school holiday and I got some painting time! I have so much to do for BOYL, I have decided to work on each project until finished; rather than dipping in and out between them all.

Today, I finished the Sensei band for the "Quickening" game. This entailed finishing the Mangrel brothers Butus (with THE Bone - a big gun painted white) and Rufus (the more subtly armed of the two).

A lackey for the Lady

I've actually done a bit of painting! I've started my Underhivers (with flesh base colours and wash), got a 2 lackeys nearly done and one finished!!!

Whilst watching TV tonight I have prepped and based my underhivers. 

I'll get them undercoated tomorrow and add them to the painting queue, behind my Sensei's lackies.

Finally some progress on my Nurgle Warband! (Only 3 months behind schedule!)

Well I have finally got my warband to the point where it should have been for the first games in February.

As you can see I have completed the 4 Pestigor that my champion Started with as followers. It is a shame that 2 of these are already dead in the game!

New brushes!!

Nothing like new brushes to enthuse a man to paint more. Well, maybe new miniatures.....     .....or the prospect of gaming.....  .....well you get what I mean.
